We recently hired Drake motorhome for a French chateau adventure in Normandie and Brittany. The motorhome was superb! in fantastic pristine clean condition, very well equipped and lovely to drive. We went as a family of four inc our two grown up children (16 & 21) and we had ample room as it was very spacious! Julian was extremely helpful all the way through our booking, collection and return and nothing was too much trouble, we had a fantastic holiday and will most certainly be hiring again!...

Our first motorhome experience after years of camping was an amazing adventure from start to finish. Julian couldn't have been more helpful, the van was spotlessly clean and the handover told us all we needed to know. We had our young dog with us and the freedom of being able to park up on Dartmoor, make lunch and go for a walk before pottering down to the coast was just perfect. Can't wait for our next trip!...

I'm so glad Google led me to there site, Julian is very easy to deal with and the website is very user friendly with plenty of information and pictures. The units are well equipped and maintained and there are a huge range of extras to book such as gazebos and chairs and bedding packs. February, Windy, Wet(ish), and cold .... "lets hire a camper for the weekend" Don't knock it till you've tried it I say, Exeter to Eastbourne, the T5 was such a nice easy drive, and setting it up ready for the evening and bedtime was a doddle, the bed was surprisingly comfortable too. We were first time motorhomers and were filled with both excitement and trepidation at the thought of taking a 6-berth motorhome for one week. Our fears were quickly allayed following a comprehensive 'handover' from Julian on the Friday morning which was very reassuring. The motorhome with its automatic transmission was just so easy to drive and along with the in-built satnav we were able to easily navigate our way around motorways, A roads, B roads and even the narrow lane to return it at the end of the week! The facilities in the motorhome met our needs and should anyone be contemplating having a break in a motorhome then you can't go wrong in utilising the services of South West Camper Hire which we would certainly recommend....

Hired a VW T6 campervan, it was in great condition and supplied with all the equipment needed. Easy to drive and had air conditioning, cruise control and sat nav, amongst other driver aids. Thoroughly recommended....
