Cavendish (Kronos Compact 665)

Wonderful, friendly service from Julian at SWCH. We had a lovely 5 night break in a beautiful, immaculately kept Fiat motorhome around Cornwall....

Thank you for the hire: it was an amazing experience, we found the process of hiring very straight forward and we appreciate all your help with all the questions! We would thoroughly recommend hiring through your company again, and have done so already to a number of friends!...

Our first motorhome experience after years of camping was an amazing adventure from start to finish. Julian couldn't have been more helpful, the van was spotlessly clean and the handover told us all we needed to know. We had our young dog with us and the freedom of being able to park up on Dartmoor, make lunch and go for a walk before pottering down to the coast was just perfect. Can't wait for our next trip!...

This was our first Motorhome Holiday so we needed some proper advice from the experts! On talking with Julian you can tell his passion for the provision of great customer service, accurate information and sharing experiences! Luxury throughout, beautifully detailed and everything you could need onboard. We were blown away by just how comfortable, warm and easy to setup and function while touring. Utterly relaxing, utterly comfortable and utterly "doing it again!". Thank you Julian and thanks to your support team. We have loved this holiday like no other and have been bitten by the Motorhome bug!...

We had an amazing time away in a beautiful campervan. Despite the snow, the van was lovely and warm and very comfy with everything you need. We will definitely be coming back!...

Great advice and back up. Van beautifully turned out with everything we needed. We toured Italy for a month in the VW and it was perfect....

Highly recommend using South West Camper Hire! Julian is a top bloke and very helpful. This is the second time we have hired and have no complaints. The vans are clean, well equipped and drive well. Looking forward to our next adventure and we will definitely use South West Camper Hire again....

Hired a VW T6 campervan, it was in great condition and supplied with all the equipment needed. Easy to drive and had air conditioning, cruise control and sat nav, amongst other driver aids. Thoroughly recommended....

Highly recommended camper hire with a personal service. I'd hire from South West Camper Hire again. Julian was professional and accommodating right from our initial enquiry to when we returned the camper. We had a modern and clean camper for a week which gave my family a well-needed break. Allowing dogs really made it a great family touring holiday as we were only looking for accommodation or campers that allowed us to bring our furry children with us! We've already recommended SW Camper Hire to friends who were looking for a similar holiday with dogs....

Just got back from a brilliant week away in a motorhome from SW camper hire. Lovely van, very clean and well equipped and Julian was very helpful. Dog-friendly too! Brilliant....

I have been renting vans from south west campers since 2014 and the vans and personal service just keeps getting better....

As my wife won the competition naturally we took up the offer. We run a campsite of our own in Cornwall and see camper vans each year many on hire. We had never thought about using one ourselves. What a good company this is giving great personalised and friendly service from beginning to end. With smart, clean and stylish camper vans. We have been very impressed and are going to be booking a hire for 2018. We would not hesitate to recommend this company if you are looking for camper hire, with many different models available to suit your requirements....

Would highly recommend South West Camper Hire. The motorhome was immaculate and well equipped and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be booking again!...

Excellent company to deal with, friendly personal service and we stayed in a lovely new motorhome. Great communication from our first enquiry right through to handing the van back. Would highly recommend...

Another fantastic 3 night break away. This time we hired a motorhome, which we found very comfortable, had everything we needed for our break. Julian couldn't be more helpful, especially as we arrived late to pick up up the van. Will definitely be booking again....

Really lovely, good quality campers and a friendly service from Julian. Nice to support a local family run business...

We hired Kingsley for two weeks in August and we were very happy with the experience. Kids loved the adventure. Great communication with Julian. Fully recommend....

We had a fantastic time in our VW T5 and cannot recommend SWCH highly enough. Attention to detail meant all stress was taken out of the trip and Julian very personable, friendly and on hand to answer any queries. Top notch!...

We were first time motorhomers and were filled with both excitement and trepidation at the thought of taking a 6-berth motorhome for one week. Our fears were quickly allayed following a comprehensive 'handover' from Julian on the Friday morning which was very reassuring. The motorhome with its automatic transmission was just so easy to drive and along with the in-built satnav we were able to easily navigate our way around motorways, A roads, B roads and even the narrow lane to return it at the end of the week! The facilities in the motorhome met our needs and should anyone be contemplating having a break in a motorhome then you can't go wrong in utilising the services of South West Camper Hire which we would certainly recommend....

February, Windy, Wet(ish), and cold .... "lets hire a camper for the weekend" Don't knock it till you've tried it I say, Exeter to Eastbourne, the T5 was such a nice easy drive, and setting it up ready for the evening and bedtime was a doddle, the bed was surprisingly comfortable too. We had such great fun that we can't wait until our next adventure in a van! Thanks Julian...

Thank you Julian for our amazing week in the Fiat Armstrong campervan. Your efficient friendly service from initial email to final return of vehicle was second to none. The van was spotless and way more comfortable than I'd expected. The photos whilst clear did not do it justice. Julian's directions were clear and easily understood by us novices. I would highly recommend this company and already planning another trip....

I'm so glad Google led me to there site, Julian is very easy to deal with and the website is very user friendly with plenty of information and pictures. The units are well equipped and maintained and there are a huge range of extras to book such as gazebos and chairs and bedding packs. If you're looking to hire a camper or motorhome then I can recommend Julian and South West Camper Hire with no reservations....

Excellent service and very easy to deal with! Just what you need for a stress-free holiday. The van (VW T6) was well equipped and Julian is a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend to anyone interested in hiring a camper....

We recently hired Drake motorhome for a French chateau adventure in Normandie and Brittany. The motorhome was superb! in fantastic pristine clean condition, very well equipped and lovely to drive. We went as a family of four inc our two grown up children (16 & 21) and we had ample room as it was very spacious! Julian was extremely helpful all the way through our booking, collection and return and nothing was too much trouble, we had a fantastic holiday and will most certainly be hiring again!...

The owner, Julian, provided an excellent service. The initial instructions were clear, the van was spotlessly clean, in excellent order and very well equipped. We would certainly use them again and would recommend others to do so....

First time hiring a motorhome and Julian made the entire process very user friendly, very informative and beyond what we had expected - a very genuine and honest person. The campervan was amazing, immaculate and fully loaded for what we wanted. We will definitely be returning to hire again....

Tremendous. Cheerful, effective and fuss-free. Good value. A pleasure to do business with. Will cheerfully use again....

I hired the Magellan VW T6 for a fab road trip to Scotland. The van was great, really well equipped and Julian was professional & helpful. So nice that dogs are really welcome not just tolerated! A proper dog-friendly company - would use again. Thanks!...

South West Camper Hire is an absolutely outstanding, customer-focused company. We had a fantastic four day Easter break touring around Devon and Cornwall in a VW T5. The van we hired was immaculate and in perfect working order - it had everything we needed on board and looked extremely cool which was a bonus..Julian could not have been more helpful, taking great care to make sure we felt very confident before we set off. I would definitely recommend this company highly.....

We love South West Camper Hire! We have hired from here 2 years running and each time have been super pleased with the campervan and personal service, we always recommend it to anyone looking to hire....
