Top 6 foodie places to add to your campervan adventure

Our campervans all have fully equipped kitchens for foodies who love to cook but we know how lovely it is to be cooked for, especially when on holiday!

We are very lucky to be in one of the best parts of the country for amazing quality food and drink here in Devon.

We’ve therefore hand-picked some of the most delicious foodie destinations offering the tastiest bites in South and North Devon, all of them being unique in their own way. Some are off the beaten track, others are total foodie hotspots, all of which you must try! We hope they bring you some foodie joy while you road trip in one of our campervans!

Let's begin with South Devon...

Riverford field kitchen

 Riverford

Are you passionate about organic food? We would like to recommend the Riverford field kitchen as it is an award winning organic kitchen! There is a little something unique about it... All of the tables are shared and the whole restaurant is served at the same time- like a big dinner party!

Drive your campervan to enjoy a feast of the freshest seasonal produce from their fields while you meet new people and have some fun!

You can also experience guided farm tours and walks before or after you dine.

Sharpham Vineyard

 Sharpham Vineyard

Can you picture yourself tasting different wines and cheeses at the same time as experiencing wonderful views of the River Dart?

If one can, you absolutely must take your campervan to the fantastic Sharpham Vineyard! The wine they produce here is award winning as is the cheese, taste it for yourself and let us know what you think (as long as you’re not the designated driver).

Guess what, they have a shop! This means you can take some cheese and wine with you on your road trip!

River Cottage

You’ve probably heard of Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall from his very popular Channel 4 TV series which made many people aware of their eating habits and how they can change to improve the welfare and sustainability of animals. Well this is his restaurant, located near Exeter, perfect choice for an evening outside of the campervan! Guaranteed to give you a real taste and insight into how committed he is to eating and producing ethically produced foods.
